Green Beans In Tomato Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
1 large: Onion, chopped fine
1 small: Can tomato sauce,
4 slice: Bacon,
2 can: #303 cut green beans,
Salt & pepper to taste,
Directions:
Cut bacon into 1/2" strips, fry until almost crisp, drain, leaving
just enough to saute onion until almost clear, while bacon finishes
cooking. Add beans, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and enough bean
liquid to just cover beans. Cover and cook 1/2 hr. Remove cover and
simmer until sauce becomes thick.
Note: More or less of each ingredient may be used to suit the
