Herbed Pecan Rub Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Pecans, broken
3 Cloves: garlic, cut up
1/2 cup: Fresh oregano,
1/2 cup: Fresh thyme,
1/2 tsp: Lemon peel, finely
Shredded,
1/2 tsp: Black pepper,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
1/4 cup: Cooking oil,
Directions:
In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients EXCEPT oil.
Cover and blend several times, scaping sides, until a paste forms.
With machine running, gradually add oil until mixture forms a paste.
Rub onto fish or chicken.
Makes 1/2 cup, enough for 3 pounds of meat.
