Honey Ginger Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:
3 tbsp: Shortening,
3 tbsp: Margarine or butter,
1/3 cup: Gold Medal all-purpose flour,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1/2 tsp: Ground ginger,
1/4 tsp: Pepper,
3 lbs: Chicken drumsticks and thighs,
1/3 cup: Honey,
1/3 cup: Chili sauce 1/3 Cup soy sauce,

Directions:
/2 t ground ginger

Heat oven to 425!. Heat shortening and margarine in rectangular pan,
13 x 9 x 2 inches, in oven until melted. Mix flour, salt, V2 teaspoon
ginger and the pepper. Coat chicken thoroughly with flour mixture.
Place chicken, skin sides down, in pan. Bake uncovered 30 minutes;
turn chicken. Bake 15 minutes longer; remove chicken. Drain fat from
pan. Line pan with aluminum foil. Return chicken to pan.

Mix remaining ingredients; pour over chicken. Bake uncovered 15
minutes, spooning honey mixture onto chicken every 5 minutes. Serve
immediately or refrigerate and serve chilled. 6 servings.
