Ingredients:
1 1/3 cup: Whole wheat flour,
3 tsp: Baking powder,
3/4 tsp: Salt,
3 tbsp: Sugar,
1: Egg, well beaten
1 cup: Milk,
3 tbsp: Melted shortening,

Directions:
Combine egg, shortening, and milk. Blend sugar, salt, and baking
powder with whole wheat flour. Beat until smooth. Bake on hot
