Italian Sweet Rolls Recipe

Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients:

DOUGH
1 1/3 cup: Water,
2 tbsp: Butter,
2 tbsp: Sugar,
1 tsp: Salt,
4 cup: Bread flour,
2 tsp: Yeast,

GLAZE
1: Egg,
2 tbsp: Water,

TOPPING
1/4 cup: Sugar,
1 tsp: Cinnamon, ground
1 tsp: Anise seed,
1/8 tsp: Nutmeg, ground

Directions:
Use dough cycle. When done, remove dough from machine and shape into 12
balls. Cover with a clean kitchen towl and let rise for approximately one
hour in a warm, draft-free location. Brush each one with the egg and
water, which have been beaten together, and sprinkle with the
mixed-together sugar and spices. Bake in a preheated 350 F. oven for
approximately 20 minutes until golden brown.
