Sweetened Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cup: Flour, all-purpose
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1 1/2 tbsp: Baking powder,
3 tbsp: Sugar,
3/4 cup: Shortening,
2/3 cup: Milk,
Directions:
Combine flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar; cut in shortening until
mixture resembles coarse meal. Add milk, stirring until well
blended. Turn dough out onto floured surface, and knead lighlty about
3 to 4 times.
Roll dough to 1/2" thickness, and cut into rounds with a 2-1/2"
cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheet; bake at 450 degrees for
15 mintues or until golden.
