Company Squares Recipe

Ingredients:
12: To 16 chocolate wafers,
3 T: Butter or margarine,
2 T: Powdered sugar,
1 pint: Ice cream Whipped cream and maraschino cherry, if desired
Directions:
Crush 12 to 16 chocolate wafer crumbs to make 1-1/4 cupfuls of
coarse crumbs.
Cream until light and fluffly 3 TBL butter or margarine. Add 2 TBL
powdered sugar and mix well.
Gradually work crumbs into creamed mixture. It will still be crumbly.
Spread 1/2 of buttered crumbs on bottom of refrigerator ice tray.
Spread 1 pint of ice cream over the crumbs and sprinkle rest of
the crumbs on top, pressing down gently.
Freeze until firm.
Cut in squares and lift out with wide spatula. To dress up, put 2 TBL
whipped cream and maraschino cherry on top of each square.
