Layered Chocolate Peanut Diamonds Recipe

Ingredients:
1/3 cup: Margarine or butter,
1/4 cup: Peanut butter,
1 1/4 cup: Flour,
3/4 cup: Packed brown sugar,
1: 8 oz pkg cream cheese, soft
Ened,
1/4 cup: Honey,
2 T: Brown sugar,
2 T: Flour,
2: Eggs,
1 1/2 cup: Finely chopped peanuts,
1: 6 oz. pkg chocolate chips, (
1: cup),
Directions:
Combine margarine or butter and peanut butter in small
bowl, beat with mixer on med to high speed for 30
seconds. Add about half of the 1 1/4 cups flour and
the 3/4 cup brown sugar; beat till combined. Beat in
remaining flour. Press mixture evenly into 13 X 9 X 2
inch baking dish. Bake in 350 degree oven about 15
min. or till light brown. Combine cream cheese, honey,
2 TBS brown sugar, 2 TBS flour in small mixer bowl;
beat on med speed till combined. Add eggs; beat just
till combined. Stir in 1 cup of the peanuts. Pour over
baked crust. Bake about 15 minutes more or till the
crust is set. Sprinkle cookies with chocolate pieces,
bake 2 min. more or till softened. Place baking dish
on wire rack. Spread melted chocolate pieces over top.
Sprinkle with remaining peanuts. Cool thoroughly on
wire rack. Cut into diamonds or bars. Refrigerate or
freeze. Makes 42 bars.
