3 -1/8: -oz size,
2 T: Cornstarch,
1 quart: Milk,
1: 10-inch baked pie shell,
Whipped cream,

Directions:
Prepare 10-inch pie shell with your favorite recipe.
In 2-quart saucepan add pudding mix, cornstarch, and
milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for
about 7 minutes or until boiling. Do not overcook.
Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until
ready to use. After cooling, stir pudding and pour
into pie shell. Top with whipped cream.

FOR CHOCOLATE PIE:
Follow basic recipe using vanilla pudding mix, but add
two 1-ounce squares of Bakers Semi-sweet Chocolate
before cooking pudding. As it cooks, the chocolate
melts and makes a richer chocolate pudding.

here is my all time favorite pie, it is rich but sooo fabulous

Anns chocolate pie
6 oz choc chips 1 tea lemon juice
1/4 cup cornstarch 1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup water 1 cup butter (must be butter not marg)
1/2 cup sugar 4 tbl sugar
1/4 cup (again) water 2 cups flour
1 eggwhite
1 tea vanilla

(can be made in a pie shell but I have best results in a spring release
pan)
First prepare crust,Mix butter and 4 tbl of sugar together and add flour ,
mix
until crumbly (about 3 mins on med) pat 2/3 of mixture into pie pan or
spring
pan and put remainder into a small pan and heat both at 350 for about
15mins
(or until light brown) stir the small pan amount once during cooking time
to
create crumbs
Once done put in refrigerater to cool completely

Melt choc in cornsyrup and 1/4 cup of water ( Can be done over low heat or
in
the microwave 4mins on med) stir to incorporate and put in refrigerater to
cool completely

Combine 1/2 c of sugar, 1/4 c water, egg white, vanilla and lemon juice ,
beat on high speed until peeks form (this takes a long time about 20
minutes
with my mixer). In a seperate bowl beat one cup of whipping cream until
thick. Fold cream and half of the chocolate mixture into the eggwhite mix.
Spoon into shell. Drizzle other half of the chocolate over filling and cut
throughout with knife. Sprinkle crumbs over top and cool until firm (about
two
hours)
