Pasta With Fresh Tomato Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
3/4 lbs: Fusilli lunghi, (long curly
Pasta) or other pasta,
1 lbs: Ripe tomatoes,
1 tbsp: Oil drained from sun-dried,
Tomatoes,
1 medium: Onion, chopped
2: Garlic cloves, chopped fine
2 tbsp: Finely chopped drained, sun-
Dried tomatoes,
3 tbsp: Chopped fresh basil,
Salt and freshly ground,
Pepper to taste,
1/2 cup: Grated Asiago cheese,
Directions:
Cook pasta in large amount of boiling salted water until tender;
drain.
Meanwhile, halve, seed and chop tomatoes; set aside. In large heavy
saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; saute
until onion is tender, about 3 minutes. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes
and cook for 1 minute. Add tomatoes, basil and salt and pepper; stir
until heated through, about 1 minute.
Add tomato sauce to pasta and toss. Sprinkle cheese on top. Source:
