Ham Quiche (mw) Recipe

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cup: Shredded Swiss cheese,
1/2 t: Salt,
9 Inch: baked pastry shell in,
1/8 t: White pepper,
1 1/2: " deep, glass dish
3: Eggs,
1 package: Cooked ham, diced
2 t: Freeze dried chives,
1 cup: Half and half or whipping cm,
1/8 t: Nutmeg,

Directions:
Sprinkle half the cheese over bottom of baked pastry shell; cover with ham,
then with remaining cheese; set aside.

Pour half and half into a 2 cup glass measure. Add salt, pepper and eggs;
with a wire whip, beat until wellblended. Microwave, uncovered, on High
for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Gradually pour hot egg mixture
into pastry shell. Sprinkle with chives and nutmeg.

Microwave, uncovered, on High for 7-9 minutes (rotating dish 1/4 turn after
every 4 minutes) or until centerjiggles slightly when plate is gently
shaken. (Upon standing, center will set). Let stand, uncovered, for 10
minutes before serving.
