Potatoes With Poppy Seeds Recipe

Ingredients:
6 small: Firm potatoes,
6 tbsp: Oil,
3 each: Whole red chiles,
1/2 cup: White poppy seeds, ground
1/2 tsp: Turmeric,
1/4 tsp: Cayenne,
1 tsp: Salt,
3 each: Fresh hot green chiles,
Directions:
Peel & dice potatoes.
Heat oil in a non-stick skillet. When hot, put in the potatoes & fry
till they are golden brown, stirring frequently. When they are
golden, remove & set aside.
Put red chiles into the oil, when they darken, add poppy seeds & 2 tb
water. Stir & saute until the paste browns. Put in the potatoes,
3/4 c water & the spices. Stir to mix & simmer, covered, for 10
minutes.
