Steak With Mushroom Sauce - Sl 9/83 Recipe

Ingredients:
2 tbsp: Lemon juice,
2 tbsp: Worcestershire sauce,
2 tbsp: Molasses,
1 tsp: Seasoned salt or Creole seasoning,
1 tsp: Seasoned pepper,
2 lbs: Sirloin steak,
Mushroom Sauce,
MUSHROOM SAUCE
1/4 cup: Butter or margarine,
1 lbs: Fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp: Worcestershire sauce,
1/2 tsp: Hot sauce,
Directions:
Combine first 5 ingredients, stirring well; pour into a large shallow
dish. Add steak; cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour, turning once.
Drain steak, reserving marinade. Grill over hot coals 8 to 12 minutes
on each side or to desired degree of doneness, basting frequently with
marinade. Serve Mushroom Sauce over steak. Yield: 6 servings.
MUSHROOM SAUCE:
Melt butter in a large skillet; add remaining ingredients, and cook over
low heat 15 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Yield: about 1-1/2
cups.
