Pakistani Kimi Recipe

Ingredients:
2 tbsp: Butter,
1/8 tsp: Coriander, ground
1 cup: Chopped onions,
1/4 tsp: Cayenne pepper,
3 Cloves: garlic, minced
1 tsp: Salt,
1 1/2 lbs: Ground meat,
2: , (16 oz.) cans stewed
1 tbsp: Curry powder,
-tomatoes,
1 Stick: , (whole) cinnamon
1/2 cup: Water,
1 tsp: Minced gingerroot,
2 cup: Diced and peeled potatoes,
1/2 tsp: , (ground) cardamom
2 cup: Fresh or frozen peas,
1/8 tsp: Cumin, ground

Directions:
Saute all spices in butter in a large skillet over medium heat a few
minutes. Then add onions, garlic and ground meat and continue to stir
mixture until slightly browned. Then add the stewed tomatoes, water
and potatoes. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes over medium low
temperature. Add frozen peas last, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve over rice, and sprinkle top with a handful of peanuts and fresh
cilantro leaves, just before serving it.
