Chow Chow (new England) Recipe

Ingredients:
18 large: Tomatoes, peeled and chopped fine
1 small: Head of green cabbage chopped,
2: Green peppers, chopped
1: Red pepper, chopped
1 cup: Cider vinegar,
1 cup: Sugar,
2 tsp: Ground cinnamon,
1 tsp: Ground allspice,
1 tsp: Ground cloves,
6 tbsp: Salt,
1 large: Onion, peeled and chopped

Directions:
Combine all ingredients. Cover tightly and simmer until vegetables
are tender. Spoon into hot sterilized jars; seal. Makes 8 pints.
