Tomato, Onion, And Basil On French Bread Recipe

Ingredients:
3 large: Tomato, sliced 1/4" thick
1 small: Onion, in rings
12 Leaves: basil,
3 tbsp: Olive oil,
1 tbsp: Balsamic vinegar,
Salt and pepper,
1: French bread loaf,

Directions:
Place the tomatoes, onion and basil in a bowl. Sprinkle with the
olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Toss gently. Taste
for seasoning. Spoon the mixture evenly over 4 of the pieces of bread
and top with the remaining 4 pieces. The sandwiches keep well
wrapped for up to 8 hours.
