Baked Apples - House Beautiful Recipe

Ingredients:
Kanten coulis, recipe follows
6 large: Rome apples, washed, cored 3/4 of the way through and 1 to 1 1/2 inches of skin around the top of each apple removed
Directions:
In a baking dish just large enough to hold the apples, spoon about
1/2-inch of the Kanten coulis, place apples on top and fill each hole
with Kanten coulis. Bake 30 to 45 minutes in a preheated 350 oven
until the apples are soft but retain their shape. Serve warm or at
room temperature. Serves 6.
