Christmas Treats (cookies) Recipe

Ingredients:
3/4 cup: Butter or margarine,
1/2 cup: Sugar,
1 tsp: Almond extract,
1 package: 3-oz. cream cheese,
1 1/2 cup: Sifted flour,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1 cup: Oatmeal,
1/2 cup: Chopped pecans,
Directions:
Beat the butter, cream cheese, sugar and almond extract until
creamy. Sift flour and salt together, stir into creamed mixture until
well blended. Add oatmeal and pecans. Chill dough 1 hour. Take a
small smount of dough and roll into finger thick 4-inch lengths, form
into wreaths or balls. Decorate with slivers of read and creen
candied cherries or sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake at 300
