Old-fashioned Blueberry Muffins - Bon Appetit Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Milk,
1/2 cup: , (1 stick) unsalted butter
1 1/2 tsp: Grated orange peel,
1 tsp: Vanilla extract,
2 large: Eggs,
2 cup: Unbleached all purpose flour,
1/4 cup: Sugar,
2 1/2 tsp: Baking powder,
3/4 tsp: Salt,
1 1/3 cup: Fresh blueberries or frozen, unthawed
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400F. Line twelve 1/3 C muffin cups with paper
liners. Combine first 4 ingredients in heavy small saucepan. Stir
over medium heat until butter melts. Cool until mixture is warm to
touch. Beat in eggs.
Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into large bowl. Add milk
mixture and stir just until blended. Fold in blue berries. Divide
batter equally among prepared cups. Bake until golden and tester
inserted into center of muffins comes out clean, about 20 minutes.
Transfer to racks and cool.
