Powter Apple Fritters Recipe

Ingredients:
3 medium: Apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/4 inch rounds
1 cup: Whole wheat flour,
1 tsp: Baking powder,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
1/4 tsp: Cinnamon,
1 large: Egg,
1 cup: Apple juice,
1 tbsp: Vegetable oil,
Directions:
Dry apples with paper towel and set aside. Apples need to be dry or
batter will not stick.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, beat egg, juice, and 1 1/4t of veg oil. Mix wet
and dry ingredients together until there are no lumps.
In a nonstick pan, heat 1/2t oil. Dip apples in batter and let
excess drip off. Saute slices a few at a time. Cook until golden,
turn and brown the other side. Continue until all the apples are
done. Drain on paper towels.
