Celery Pickle (mennonite) Recipe

Ingredients:
3 quart: Celery, chopped
2 tbsp: Salt,
3 cup: Vinegar,
1 tbsp: Dry mustard,
1 cup: Water,
1 tsp: Turmeric,
4 cup: Sugar,
Directions:
Cut celery stems into 1 inch lengths. Cook in salt water until tender
but not soft. Drain. Combine vinegar, sugar, water, and spices.
Bring to a boil. Add celery and bring to boiling point. Pack in
jarsand seal.
