Hearty Cheese N Toast Recipe

Ingredients:
1 tbsp: Butter or margarine,
Shredded,
1 tbsp: All-purpose flour,
6 slice: White bread,
2/3 cup: Mllk,
Or whole wheat, toasted
1 tsp: Worcestershire Sauce,
6 slice: Cooked turkey,
1/2 tsp: Dry mustard,
Chicken, beef or ham,
1 tsp: Whole caraway seeds,
Optional,
Pepper to taste,
Chopped fresh parsley,
2 cup: Sharp cheddar cheese, 8 oz
Directions:
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium high heat. Stir in flour to
form a smooth paste. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir until the
mixture is smooth and thickened. Add the Worcestershire sauce,
mustard, caraway and pepper. Stir until well blended. Add the cheese;
cook and stir over low heat until melted. Cut toast diagonally and
place on individual plates. If desired, top each with a slice of
meat. Spoon cheese sauce over meat and toast. Sprinkle with parsley.
Serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings
