Spiced Pecans - Country Living Recipe

Ingredients:
3 cup: Pecan halves,
1 tsp: Ground cinnamon,
2 tbsp: Butter, melted
1/4 tsp: Ground cloves,
1 Large: egg white,
1/4 tsp: Ground allspice,
2 tbsp: Sugar,
1 1/2 tsp: Hot red-pepper sauce,
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350F. On large baking sheet, stir together pecans and
butter. Bake pecans 5 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned, Cool
pecans on baking sheet on wire rack 10 minutes.
2. In small bowl, combine egg white, sugar, cinnamon, cloves,
allspice, and pepper sauce; stir into browned pecans. Bake pecans 5
to 8 minutes longer, stirring occasionally, until spice mixture
hardens.
3. Cool pecans on sheet on wire rack to room temperature. Stir to
break up nuts, if necessary. Transfer to serving bowl.
