Baked Pumpkin - Sl 10/82 Recipe

Ingredients:
3 cup: Pumpkin, cooked and mashed
1/4 tsp: Ground mace,
2 each: Eggs, beaten
1 dash: Pepper,
1/2 cup: Pecans, chopped
1/2 cup: Pecan halves,
2 tbsp: Sugar,
1/2 cup: Brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tbsp: Butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup: Maple or maple-flavored,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
-syrup,
Directions:
Combine first 8 ingredients, stirring well. Pour pumpkin mixture
into a lightly greased 1-1/2 quart casserole. Arrange pecan halves
on top of casserole.
Combine brown sugar and syrup in a small saucepan; cook, stirring
constantly, over medium heat until mixture reaches a boil. Cool
slightly. Spoon glaze evenly over casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350
degrees F for 40 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.
