Bakers Best Macaroons~ Recipe

Ingredients:
2 2/3 cup: Angel flake coconut, (7
1/4 tsp: Salt,
-oz),
4: Egg whites,
2/3 cup: Sugar,
1 tsp: Almond extract,
6 tbsp: Flour,

Directions:
Heat oven to 325~. Mix coconut, sugar, flour and salt in a large
bowl. Stir in egg whites and almond extract until well blended. Drop
by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake 20 minutes
or until edges of cookies are golden brown. Immediately remove from
cookie sheets. Cool on wire racks. Makes 3 dozen.

7.3 g; fiber 0.2 g; protein 0.7 g; sodium 35 mg; potassium 24 mg;
calcium 1 mg.

CHOCOLATE MACAROONS: Stir in 2 squares semisweet chocolate, melted,
before baking.
