Broccoli Cheddar Soup Recipe

Ingredients:
1/4 cup: Chopped onion,
3/4 cup: Chicken broth,
1/4 cup: Butter or margarine,
1 1/2 cup: Milk,
1/4 cup: All-purpose flour,
1 cup: Chopped broccoli, frozen --
1/4 tsp: Salt,
Or fresh cooked,
1/4 tsp: Pepper,
1/2 cup: Shredded cheddar cheese,

Directions:
In a saucepan, saute the onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour,
salt and pepper; cook and stir until smooth and bubbly. Add broth and
milk all at once; cook and stir until the mixture boils and thickens.
Add broccoli. Simmer stirring constantly until heated through. Remove
from the heat and stir in cheese until melted. Yield 2 servings./
