Broccoli With Black Olives Recipe

Ingredients:
Salt,
2 tbsp: Butter,
1 medium: Head of broccoli,
12: Imported black olives,
-cut into florets,
-pitted and chopped,
-stems peeled and sliced,
Freshly ground pepper,
-crosswise 1" thick,
Directions:
Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil. Add salt and the broccoli
stems and cook for 1 minute. Add the broccoli florets and cook until
just tender, about 4 minutes. Drain well in a colander and shake dry.
Return the broccoli to the saucepan and toss with the butter. Add the
olives, season with salt and pepper and toss again. Spoon the
broccoli into a dish and serve.
