Brownle Mix-brownies Recipe

Ingredients:
BROWNLE MIX:
6 cup: All-purpose flour,
8 cup: Sugar,
4 tsp: Baking powder,
1 can: Baking cocoa, 8 ounces
4 tsp: Salt,
2 cup: Vegetable shortening,
T0 MAKE BROWN1ES:
2 1/2 cup: Brownie mix,
1/2 cup: Chopped nuts, optional
2 each: Eggs, beaten
Confectioners sugar,
1 tsp: Vanilla extract,
Optional,
Directions:
BROWNIE MIX: In a large bowl, combine first five ingredients. With a
pastry blender, cut in shortening until evenly distributed. Store in
a large airtight container in cupboard. Keeps 10-12 weeks. Yield:
about 17 cups of mix. T0 MAKE BROWN1ES: In a mixing bowl, combine
first four ingredients. Beat with spoon until smooth. Spread into a
greased 8-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350 deg. for 20-25 minutes
or until top tests done. Cut into squares while still warm. Dust with
confectioners sugar if desired. Yield: 9 brownies
