Keftedes [greek Meat Balls] Recipe

Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs: Ground round steak,
1 tbsp: Mint, fresh, chopped
2: Eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 tsp: Cinnamon,
1/2 cup: Bread crumbs, fine, soft
1/4 tsp: Allspice,
2 medium: Onions, finely chopped
Salt and fresh ground pepper,
2 tbsp: Parsley, fresh, chopped
Shortening for frying,

Directions:
Combine all the ingredients except the shortening and mix thoroughly.
Refrigerate for several hours. Shape into small balls and fry in the
melted shortening. Serve hot.
