Lime Gelatin Salad Recipe

Ingredients:
1 package: Lime gelatin powder, 6 oz
1 can: Crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup: Hot water, boiling
8 ounce: ,
1 package: Cream cheese, 8 oz
1 can: Lemon-lime soda,
Softened,
1/2 cup: Pecans, chopped
1/2 tsp: Vanilla,
1 carton: Cool Whip, thawed &
1 can: Mandarin oranges, drained
Divided,
Directions:
Dissolve in gelation in water. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese
until fluffy. Stir in gelatin mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in
vanilla, oranges, pineapple, soda and pecans. Chill until mixture
mounds slightly when dropped from a spoon. Fold in 3/4 of the whipped
topping. Pour into a 13x9x3 inch dish. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours
or until firm. Cut into squares; garnish with the remaining whipped
topping. Yield: 16 to 20 servings.
