Pesto Toasts^ Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup: Fresh basil leaves,
Salt and pepper to taste,
2 centiliter: Garlic,
1: French or sourdough baguette,
1/2 cup: Olive oil,
Cut in twenty four slices,
1 cup: Grated Parmesan,
24: Fresh basil leaves for,
5 tbsp: Mayonnaise,
Garnis, optional

Directions:
Finely chop garlic and basil in processor. Gradually pour in oil while
machine is running; process until smooth. Mix in cheese.

In a bowl, whisk together pesto and mayonnaise; season.

Preheat broiler. Lightly brown one side of bread on one side. Spread
pesto on untoasted side to within 1/4" of edges. Broil until bubbly,
do not burn. Garnish, if desired.
