Red Pepper Pasta Sauce^ Recipe

Ingredients:
3 cup: Chopped red bell pepper,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
1 centiliter: Galric, minced
ds Hot pepper sauce,
1 cup: Chicken broth,
1 tbsp: To 2 chopped fresh basil,
1 tbsp: Tomato paste,
Directions:
Bring all to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened,
about 20 minutes. Process in blender or processor until smooth. Serve
over hot cooked pasta. Garnish with additional basil, if desired.
Microwave directions:
Microwave covered, the pepper, onion and garlic 4-4 1/2 minutes until
vegetables are tender. Add 1/2 cup chicken broth, tomato paste, salt
and hot pepper sauce. Cook, uncovered, on high 2-3 minutes. Continue
as above.
Per half cup serving:
35 cal., 2g pro., 6g carb., 1g fiber, 1g/26% fat, 360mg sodium, 240mg
potassium, 1 vegetable exchange.
