Pickled Pineapple Recipe

Ingredients:
1 each: No. 2 1/2 can pineapple,
pn Salt,
Chunks or slices,
6 each: To 8 whole cloves,
3/4 cup: Vinegar,
1 each: 4" stick cinnamon,
1 1/4 cup: Granulated sugar,
Directions:
Week or so ahead: Into saucepan, drain syrup from pineapple; add
vinegar, sugar, salt, cloves, and cinnamon. Simmer, uncovered, 10
min.; add pineapple chunks. Bring to boil. Cool; refrigerate. Nice
with poultry, meat, or fish, or as hors doeuvres.
