Radishes Au Gratin Recipe

Ingredients:
4 1/2 lbs: Red radishes, round
2 tsp: Salt,
1/2 cup: Butter,
2 cup: Bread crumbs, unflavored
1/4 cup: Flour,
2 cup: Cheddar cheese, grated
3 cup: Milk,
Directions:
Wash radishes and cut off roots and stems. Cook in salted, boiling
water 15 minutes and drain. Save one cup of water for sauce. Places
radishes in buttered baking dishes and cover with sauce made by
cooking butter and flour together. Add milk, radish water and salt.
Sprinkle with crumbs and grated cheese. Bake at 325 degF for 20
minutes.
