My Oatmeal Cookies ***** Recipe
Yield: 5 dozenRecipe by luhu.jp
Ingredients:
2 cup: All-purpose flour,
1 cup: Brown sugar,
1 tsp: Baking soda,
1/2 cup: Butter,
1 tsp: Salt,
1/2 cup: Shortening,
2 cup: Rolled oats,
1/2 cup: Sour milk,
Directions:
Directions Stir first 5 ingredients together.Melt fats and mix with
dry ingredients.Stir in milk, mixing well. Chill dough 1/2 hour. Roll
out to 1/4" thickness on lightly floured board. Cut with cookie
cutter, about 2" in diameter.Place on greased baking sheet and bake
in a moderate oven 350 degrees 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly
brown.
Note; When I make these I put 2 together with jam between and they
are a favorite with my grandchildren.
