Warm Saute Of Winter Fruit Recipe

Ingredients:
2 tbsp: Butter or margarine,
2 tbsp: Maple syrup,
1 large: Apple -- cored, thinly
Sliced,
1: Firm, ripe pear -- cored,
Thinly sliced,
1/3 cup: Raisins or currants,
1/3 cup: Walnuts or pecans --,
Chopped,
1 dash: Ground cinnamon,
1 dash: Nutmeg,
2 tbsp: Water,
2 tbsp: Brandy,
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a saute pan or large skillet. Stir in maple syrup and
adjust to taste.
2. Add remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat and stir until fruits
are tender.
* Timesaver Tip: Ingredients can be prepared ahead; rub apple and pear
slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.
