Whole Wheat Crackers Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup: All-purpose flour,
1 1/2 cup: Whole wheat flour,
1 tbsp: Sugar,
1 1/4 tsp: Baking soda,
1 tsp: Salt,
1 cup: Buttermilk,
1/4 cup: Vegetable oil,
Butter or margarine, melted
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flours, sugar, baking soda and salt. Stir in
buttermilk and oil. Shape dough into 6 balls. Roll each ball into 9-inch
square on lightly floured cloth- covered board. Cut into 2-1/4-inch
squares; brush with butter. Place squares on ungreased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with coarse salt or sesame or poppy seed if desired. Bake 8 to 10
minutes or until crisp and golden.
ABOUT 8 DOZEN CRACKERS
Yes, you can make crackers at home! To give them their characteristic
"crack," thinly roll out the dough and bake on ungreased cookie sheets.
