Chinese Barbecue Sauce - Char Sui Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Sherry,
4 Cloves: garlic,
6 tbsp: Soy sauce,
2 tsp: Plum sauce,
2 tbsp: Black bean paste,
6 tbsp: Hoisin sauce,
2 tsp: Salt,
1 1/2 tsp: Chinese 5-spice,
1/2 cup: Sugar,

Directions:
Mix together well. Heat in double boiler - add cornstarch for thickening.
