Microwave Pilaf Recipe

Ingredients:
Diced onion,
Diced greenpepper,
Diced mushrooms,
1 tbsp: Oil, up to 2
Pepper,
Herbs of your choice- plenty,
1 cup: Rice,
2 cup: Boiling water,
Salt or parev chicken soup powder,
Directions:
In a microwave proof cassarole heat oil then soft saute the vegetables for
5 mins. Add rice, boiling water, herbs and pepper and soup powder. Cover
tightly and cook on high for 18-20 minutes. You dont have to check, or
stir during the cooking.
Bits of meat or fish could be added to make a one dish meal. This reheats
easily
