Best Buttermilk Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients:
4 cup: self-rising flour,
1 cup: vegetable shortening,
2 cup: buttermilk,
Directions:
Place flour in mixing bowl. Cut in shortening. Add buttermilk and
mix well. Dough will be sticky. Flour hands and bread board. Pat
dough into a circle 3/4-inch thick. Cut dough with a biscuit cutter.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in preheated 400 degree
oven 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Delicious with butter or
stuffed with ham for a special ham biscuit. Yield: 2 dozen biscuits
(depending on size).
