Cajun Spiced Chicken And Rice Recipe

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon: flour,
1: cooking bag,
1 cup: rice, instant,
1: bell pepper, cut in chunks,
1/2 cup: onion -- chopped,
1/4 cup: celery -- sliced,
1/2 teaspoon: thyme leaves,
1/4 teaspoon: salt,
14 1/2 oz: tomatoes, canned -- cut in,
1 half: ,
1/4 cup: water,
4: to 6 pieces chicken,
1/4 teaspoon: cayenne,
1/4 teaspoon: garlic powder,
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Shake flour in cooking bag; place in 13x9x2-inch
baking pan. Combine rice, green pepper, onion, celery, thyme and salt in
bag. Add tomatoes and water; squeeze bag to blend ingredients. Arrange
ingredients in an even layer. Combine cayenne pepper and garlic powder;
sprinkle lightly over chicken. Place chicken in bag on top of rice
mixture. Close bag with nylon tie; make 6 half-inch slits in top. Bake 1
hour or until tender. Makes 2-3 servings.
