Baked Apple Doughnuts Recipe

Ingredients:
3 cup: Flour,
3 1/2 tsp: Baking powder,
1 cup: Sugar,
1 tsp: Salt,
1 tsp: Nutmeg,
1 cup: Shortening,
2: Eggs, beaten
1/2 cup: Milk,
1 cup: Apples, grated
1/2 cup: Chopped nuts,
Directions:
TOPPING: 1/2 c butter -- melted 1/2 c sugar 2 tsps cinnamon
Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and nutmeg. Cut in shortening
until mixture looks like crumbs. Add eggs, milk, apples, nuts and mix
thoroughly.
Fill well greased tiny muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake in preheated
350-degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
In a plastic bag mix sugar and cinnamon. Dip doughnut tops in butter
and shake in bake to coat.
