Mushroom Sauce (usda) Recipe

Ingredients:
3 tbsp: Butter or margarine,
1/2 cup: Canned mushrooms, sliced
3 tbsp: Flour,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
1 1/2 cup: Milk,

Directions:
Melt butter. Brown mushrooms lightly in melted butter. Stir in flour
and salt. Add milk slowly. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

Serving Ideas : Serve over Ham Turnovers or Meatballs (separate
recipes)

NOTES : This recipe is for 6 servings (about 1/4 cup each) to
accompany Ham Turnovers or Meatballs, two freeze-ahead meals. The
sauce is made at the time of serving. You will want to have the
ingredients on hand when you are ready to use the frozen food.
