Butterscotch Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Butter,
2 cup: Brown sugar,
2: Eggs,
1/2 tsp: Vanilla,
3 1/2 cup: Flour, sifted
1/2 tsp: Cream of tartar,
1 tsp: Baking soda,

Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar and then add eggs and vanilla. Sift flour with
cream of tartar and baking soda and add to first mixture. Form into a
roll and allow to stand in ice box overnight. Slice thinly and bake
on a greased baking sheet in moderate oven (375 F) for 10 minutes.
