Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:
3/4 cup: Shortening,
2 tsp: Sugar,
1: Egg,
1 tsp: Vanilla,
1 package: Butterscotch pudding mix, 4 serving
1 1/2 cup: Oats,
1 cup: Flour,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1/2 tsp: Baking powder,
1 1/2 tsp: Cream of tartar,

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets. Cream
shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix together the dry pudding
mix, oats, flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar. Stir dr
ingredients into creamed mixture. Roll the mixtire into balls about 1
1/2 in diameter. Place on cookie sheet and flatten slightly. Bake
about 10 minutes.
