Onion Cheddar Soup - (winner) Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Chopped onion,
1/4 cup: Butter or margarine,
1/4 cup: All-purpose flour,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1 dash: Pepper,
4 cup: Low fat milk,
2 cup: Shredded sharp cheddar process cheese,
Directions:
Cook onion in butter until tender, but not brown. Blend in flour,
salt and pepper. Add milk all at once. Bring to a boil, stirrlng
constantly. Remove from heat and add shredded cheese, stirring until
melted. Garnish each serving with paprika and snipped chives. Makes 6
servings.
