Orange Syrup Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cup: Sugar,
1 tbsp: Orange rind, grated
1/2 cup: Orange juice,
1/3 cup: Light corn syrup,
1/4 cup: Orange liqueur,
2 tbsp: Butter or margarine,
1 tsp: Vanilla extract,
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil over
medium heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer, stirring occasionally, 5
minutes or until sugar dissolves.
Pour through a wire-mesh strainer into a small pitcher, discarding
orange rind. Serve with orange sections over ice cream or waffles.
Yield: 2 cups.
