Potato Kugel # 2 Recipe

Ingredients:
9: Potatoes, grated
4 Slices: bacon,
1/2: Onion, chopped
1 cup: Milk, boiled
1: Egg, beaten
2 tbsp: Sour cream, heaping
1 Dash: Salt,
1 Dash: pepper,
Directions:
Put potatoes into colander and press out juices. Cook bacon and keep
the fat. (Vegetarians omit meat.) Combine potatoes, bacon, onion and
hot bacon fat, and pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Pour milk
over top. Pour on egg and sour cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Bake
at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until light brown on top. Serve
immediately or let flavors blend overnight.
