Rolled Oat Burgers Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cup: Water,
2 cup: Old-fashioned rolled oats,
2 tbsp: Low-sodium tamari or soy,
1 tbsp: Olive oil,
2 tsp: Olive oil,
1 cup: Diced onion,
1/2 cup: Grated carrots,
1/2 cup: Diced celery,
1/2 cup: Diced red bell peppers,
2 centiliter: Garlic, minced
2 tsp: Dried oregano,
6 Leaves: fresh basil, minced
1/2 tsp: Fresh ground black pepper,

Directions:
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add oats,
tamari or soy sauce and 1 tb oil. Reduce heat to low and cook 2
minutes; remove from heat and set aside.

In skillet, heat the remaining oil over medium heat. Add rest of
ingredients and saute 2 minutes or until vegetables are softened. Add
t cooked oat and combined well. Chill at least 2 hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Using an ice cream scoop (1/4 cup),
portion mixture. Form each portion into a ball and flatten slightly.
Place on a lightly oiled baking sheet and bake 20 minutes until
golden brown.

Nutrition analysis per burger: 97 calories, 4 grams protein, 3 grams
fat, 15 grams carbohydrates, no cholesterol, 80 milligrams sodium, 26
percent calories from fat.
