Dixie Boiled Salad Dressing Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Corn oil,
1 tbsp: Black pepper, freshly ground
1/4 cup: Lemon juice, fresh
1 tsp: Grated lemon peel,
2 tbsp: Brown sugar,
1/4 cup: Cider vinegar,
6 each: Egg yolks, hard boiled
1 tsp: Salt,
1/2 tsp: Garlic, minced
1 tbsp: Oregano, dried & crushed
2 tbsp: Onion, minced

Directions:
Bring oil to a boil and add the sugar, lemon juice, lemon peel, &
vinegar. Reduce heat to low and add the garlic, onions, oregano, salt
& pepper. Cook for 3 minutes and remove from heat. Mash egg yolks and
stir into pot. Allow to cool to room temp then mix into sald or pour
over. NOTE* For a sweeter dressing add 1 more Tablespoon of brown
sugar.
